What is OCIA?
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is the first step to becoming a Catholic Christian. Learn about your new faith as you make preparations to formally join the Catholic Church. For those who are already properly baptised (including from a non-Catholic tradition) this is the pathway for an adult convert to enter Communion with the Catholic Church through Confirmation. For the unbaptised, these are the first steps to officially joining the Christian community by preparing for your baptism.
